Shortly after we moved, Rick's air mattress sprang a leak - this is pretty essential for his night's sleep, so we immediately started looking for a replacement. Fortunately, Spring is in the air, so a lot of places are stocking camping gear (including air mattresses, of course). We went to our local big grocery store (Auchan); they had some, but none were the right size.
Next, we took a new bus (#13, it runs about every 45 minutes) to the commercial center (a sort of driving mall; not really set up for pedestrians...); Carrfour (another large grocery store) had a situation similar to Auchan. As a plan b, we could come back and get a double for our fold-out couch, but that would be far from ideal :-\
Rick had noticed a sporting goods store in the center, so we walked there - and they're closed for lunch... OK, back to the other section to wait it out, then back to InterSport. Aaand! Tah-dah! They had them! 15€ (times 2) later, we had a mattress (and backup) - it's a bit shorter and narrower than ours, but it's working :-D
