This was our first full day of Parents in Paris!
After an unhurried awakening, we headed to the bus (ack! That was an adventure!), eventually got the right one, and ended up at the Notre-Dame Cathedral!*
This is how most of my interior shots "came out"...
Then on to the Palais de Justice and Saint Chapelle**
The plan was to continue to Place Dauphine for lunch, but Les Deux Palais beckoned - we had lunch there instead :-)
After lunch, we caught the bus to the Luxembourg Garden and Palace.
I had semi-planned to see the Panthéon, where Simone Veil was recently interred alongside other French heros - this quick shot on our way home will hold until the next trip.
We relaxed at our apartment, and had Turkish take-out for dinner :-)

* We probably should have parked Mom in line with the wheelchair (instead of out randomly in the square) while we ran around getting photos. But the line moved fast...
** More wheelchair niceness! Two of us were directed around the crowd to another entrance (and assured that we could all meet up easily - no, but we did find each other). But then found that the Chapelle had an entrance fee?!? Religious buildings in France are supposed to be open to the public - apparently this has been decommissioned, and is now a national monument. You can see some interior shots here.
