Summer! (Is Gone!)

Summer is gone! Where did it go?!? 

We had decided to take a break from traveling, and take advantage of the fantastic area where we live! That was a great idea, But! Even little day trips require effort, planning, commitment, and so on; I was just so exhausted, all those elements just slipped by. The good part though is that we did get enough rest 🙂. Our sleeping re-arrangements worked out really well - we got high-quality sleep using a low-level air conditioning setting - aaahhh!

This is what July looked like according to Google, and August and September didn't look much different!

We did get lunch at the guinguette (in Sète this time!)

And I found a new game (or 2!) - this is like a crossword puzzle, but with math 🙂

Then, some globe-hopping friends came by, and I got to show them a few of my favorite places in Sète! The weather sure cooperated!

Speaking of weather, it's been a while since I've taken a photo out my window - so here ya go!

To top it all off, in one day, we:

- packed for our Madrid trip the next day

- bought concert tickets for our Barcelona trip in November 

- reserved accommodations for our trip to Bretagne next Summer

Whew!
