Savory Side

Hmmm... A savory side dish for dinner... Potatoes? No! These are actually chunks of...*


Savory Melon!

In a hot pan, stir in: 

olive oil

ground cloves

ground ginger

Then toss in chunks of yellow melon, cover, and let brown. Turn the melon, and repeat.

Then add a tsp of honey, swirl it around, and turn off the heat.

I served this with green beans cooked ~4 minutes in oil, water, salt, and thyme, with precooked pork stirred in at the end.
