We took the ~12:30 bus there, and the 5:00 bus back - that was a veeery long time at the beach, but bus schedules are what they are...

Updated Details: at the Gardino (main bus stop in Noto), we caught the navette at ~12:30 (2,50€ each, each way; children under 10 are free). Lido di Noto is a 15 minute bus ride East. We returned on the 5 pm bus, just in time for the grocery store to open :-)
