Two and a half years ago, one of the very first things we bought was an espresso machine (the other was a scanner/printer, also very important...)!
Unfortunately, the provider of elixir gave up the ghost a few days ago, and is no longer being produced :-(
Rick went online, and the rest is history - tomorrow's breakfast will tell all...

I said I would throw the Classic away when it breaks because I live on the Isle of Man, with no access to repair services, and I'm not competent to tackle any myself. The reliability concern came from Amazon feedback and other on-line sources. But I've ordered a Classic anyway. Although the Atomic is said to make better espresso than other stove-top machines, I couldn't see it being strong enough.
