Spicy Kiwi Shrimp

Spicy Kiwi Shrimp
What was left when I decided I needed to keep this recipe 🙄

In a medium-hot pan,
melt 2 Tablespoons of butter
sprinkle in powdered chili pepper
- 1 teaspoon of hot (piment fort)
- 2-3 teaspoons of sweet (piment doux)
stir in 1 peeled, chopped kiwi
(optional: add a couple of strips of phyllo dough / feuille de brick)
cook 3-5 minutes
(remove phyllo dough)
add ~2 Tablespoons of triple sec
stir in:
- 180 grams of precooked and shelled shrimp (crevettes décortiquées)
- 150 grams (half a package from Auchan) snow peas (pois gourmands), chopped
Heat through, ~2 minutes, and serve (for 2)

Good with brown rice or French bread and a cool Picpoul de Pinet or Sauvignon Blanc

~~~
Edited - changed the amount of shrimp, as 500 gm is a lot for 2 people!
Yumm! This looks like something that would would go well with a good Rosè from Tavel, France. Tavel is just north of Nîmes and west of Avignon. The Rosè from there is unique with a dark pink or light red color. It is one of our favorites.
