What a difference a day makes!
Yesterday, we had snow
Today, we're back to normal; it's sunny enough to see our favorite kite-surfer out on the water
Of course, it's still cold, with a range of 4-7°C (39-44°F)

Let It Snow?
Let it Snow? No!
Yesterday was officially the first day of Winter here in France, so I'm not sure I'm allowed to complain. But I will! Temperatures have been described as "dead of winter" cold (that's supposed to be January, by the way). And today, we had snow! Nothing that shows in a picture, nothing that stays solid once it hits the ground, but still! Snow!

Autumn in Sète
You see what a really bad camera and a fantastic Autumn view will get you?
I got so (1) frustrated by the total inability of my camera to capture what I saw, and (2) awe-struck by the glowing kites and Autumn leaves, that I finally broke out my paints.
This is from my mind's eye - the kite surfers really are far away, but they loom larger than life from my apartment...
