Sand Storms

Sand storms. Again! It's that time of year - the thunderstorms bring us the Sahara sand, and it goes *everywhere!*

I just read an article saying that you could incur a 68€ fine for driving when the windshield is too dirty! Since it's storming again as I write this, I'll wait till tomorrow to splash some water around...

Olympic Flame in Sète

Today, the Olympic Flame traversed Sète, and we were on hand to watch it!

We watched from the roof-top terrace of a friend, just along the canal where jousting usually takes place. This time, Simon Caselli, two-time winner of the Saint -Louis, carried the flame on the platform of a jousting boat! (So very sétois, right?)

Agde Beach

It was time. In all these years, we hadn't once been to the beaches of Agde! 

Today, we drove the *half hour* to get there, and walked along - easy parking, nice sand, breezy 23°C (73°F)...
