Today, the Olympic Flame traversed Sète, and we were on hand to watch it!
We watched from the roof-top terrace of a friend, just along the canal where jousting usually takes place. This time, Simon Caselli, two-time winner of the Saint -Louis, carried the flame on the platform of a jousting boat! (So very sétois, right?)

It was time. In all these years, we hadn't once been to the beaches of Agde!
Today, we drove the *half hour* to get there, and walked along - easy parking, nice sand, breezy 23°C (73°F)...
I'm back in California for a visit! One thing to always do? Drive around the Sutter Buttes 😎
We went counter-clockwise, which put the buttes right in my view the whole time...
