Misty!

Last time I wrote, it was windy; now it's misty - I guess my Summer this year is all about the weather!

We hustled down to the beach today - there were lots of parking spots at 11:30, so we grabbed one, went for a short walk along the beach, and strolled into our favorite restaurant a little early for our noon reservation. No problem! We had a nice relaxing lunch, followed by another promenade, then back home to the A/C 😁

It's supposed to be sunny and hot (low 90s F, low 30s C) through the weekend - perfect (?) for the Fête de la St Louis!

(I may actually hide out on Monday though - 35C / 95F!)

Windy!

This week has been incredibly windy! Our temperatures have been pretty nice though - upper 20s C (low 80s F). We took a stroll along the Mediterranean Sea path - it was beautiful!

The Hérault département (like a county) announced our fire risk - everything in red is the highest level, and orange is the next level down. All of the forest areas are closed (red) or not recommended (orange) for recreation. We've had to keep our windows closed for the last couple of days due to smoke (but I can't tell where it's coming from)...
