After a long, slow, decadent morning, we took off to Óbidos, a small medieval fortress town, known for its cherry liqueur, ginjinha. It's about an hour North of Lisbon. Passing through town, we dropped off the delightful Vit, the first of our group to head home.

Then we went back up to King Edouard VII park to see the giant Portuguese flag - fully unfurled this time!
